Our first resume & cover letter review! Following our first successful portfolio review, we thought the next new event should be a resume and cover letter review! Get your resume and cover letter reviewed by multiple experts within the x-Height community. 

We will be meeting in the basement on the cashier side, head straight back when you head down the stairs. Bring your printed out resume & cover letter or your laptop.

Event Structure

You will be given about 20 minutes to meet with a reviewer. After 20 mins, you will move to the next reviewer. You will have the chance to meet with a handful of reviewers in order to help you get multiple opinions on your resume & cover letter. There will be time for breaks and some time at the end. The venue closes at 8pm.  

Venue 

We will be downstairs for this event, on the same side as the cashier. If you're bringing your laptop, make sure it's fully charged. Otherwise, printed resume & cover letter is good too! 

The bar is open and serves alcoholic beverages (beer, wine & cocktails), as well as NA drinks, and all coffee drinks. There are also snacks available for purchase. Support the venue by purchasing something, if you can. No outside food or drinks, please (water bottles are fine). Street parking only (2 hrs on Colfax, unlimited on side-streets). There are two gender-neutral, single occupancy bathrooms in the venue. This is not a wheelchair accessible event as there are stairs and no elevator to the basement.
